Gunnar Cyrén was a glass artist, silversmith and industrial designer and one of Orrefors' first artists. Gunnar Cyrén started at Orrefors in 1959. Gunnar Cyrén's highlights in his design career were "pop glass" or "Cups with colored legs" Gunnar Cyrén is also the designer of the Nobel Service which was presented in 1991. Over the years Gunnar Cyrén has participated in a number of different exhibitions in Sweden and abroad. . Gunnar Cyrén received the Royal Scholarship in 1962, the Lunning Prize in 1966 and the Prince Eugene Medal in 1988. Gunnar Cyrén is also the designer of the classic Devil's Glass.
