The corners and edges of the blade are rounded and polished to protect your fingers during cutting. The width of the blade also creates a larger grip surface for larger fingers. The blade is 26 cm long on the bread knife and has an ultra-hard, homogeneous SG2 powder steel, embedded in 100 layers of two different steel types, each with different hardness.
