Mino

The novelty Mino from Lena Bergström and Kosta Boda consists of a base on which glass balls are attached, which are then cut up into flowers. "I see these anemones as wild glass flowers, or as unruly, curly hair," says Bergström. "I often like things that you throw away, reject, belittle, like the shards you knock off when you blow glass. I thought that if I cut such shards together, it could become a minimalist anemone. It became a shard chaos, the genie was out of the bottle, like a graphic ball, crazy and awesome.”
