Polar Lantern H 11.2cm by Göran Wärff, Kosta Boda. Polar takes us back to 1974 when the sculpture was first created as a gift to the Opera House in Sydney, Australia. Polar creates an expression that gives strength and a sculptural effect where the function is a lantern. The production technology used enables the glass mass to flow out to the bottom and creates a unique expression in each sculpture. When the work has found its place, the light is moved around the room and adds a new dimension through the optical illusion that is created.
