The vases in the Reed series from Orrefors began as three-dimensional sketches in cardboard, where Monica Förster showed how to create a strong character by emphasizing the shape joints of the blown glass instead of trying to hide them. By transferring this technique to glass, she succeeds in creating a sense of organic movement, a quiet swaying in the hard glass. The tall vase in green is molded and perfect to place on the floor in airy rooms, filled with large twigs or flowers.
