Tou, crafted by Claesson Koivisto Rune in collaboration with Orrefors, reimagines a traditional function with a fresh perspective. Drawing inspiration from the timeless storm lantern, the designers have ingeniously divided Tou into two distinct components: a sturdy glass base and a taller, thinner cylinder nestled within. The interplay of varied layers and thicknesses captures and reflects the ambiance of the space and the dancing flame, creating a captivating visual experience. Lighting the candles is a breeze with Tou – simply lift off the top for easy access. The tall glass enclosure ensures a tranquil flame, unaffected by evening breezes. Tou is available in three sizes, catering to various preferences: a smaller version for petite tea lights, a medium-sized lantern for larger tea lights, and a grand storm lantern suitable for block candles or classic candles. Each Tou lantern includes a practical metal holder, adding to its functional appeal.
